Quick fix for Pangu jailbreak bootloop error on iOS 7.1.1 / 7.1.0

Written on June 26th, 2014 | by neluttu

I just read a new post on /r/jailbreak from user DagMeow how points out that the bootloop error on some iDevices jailbroken with Pangu software is caused by the ambient light sensor.

Although it seems very weird, other users reported the fix as a valid one.

You will probably get a bootloop if your iDevice is in a dark room while rebooting. But if you point a flashlight above the light sensor while it is rebooting, the boot process goes well. Read the rest

Written on April 16th, 2014 | by neluttu

Here’s a cool tweak for you – MagicBadges. If you’re a jailbreaker you’ll love this tweak. For once you’ll be able to change the look and feel of your App’s badges.

MagicBadges makes it easy to change the badges’ position, size and color, use pictures (keeping their orginal color scheme) you like to replace default badge if you’re bored with it, in the same way Zeppelin to Carrier Logos, or Alkaline to Battery Icons.

Roumored iPhone 6 seems to get a larger screen size

Written on April 15th, 2014 | by neluttu

Hold on to your pants, the new iPhone 6 will have a larger screen, more exactly a 4.7″ screen. Credit goes to the France-based Apple blog, which has a fairly good track record for legitimate leaks.

And that’s not all. As you can see, the mold has a tapered edge, which is somewhat in line with reports that the rear side of the device will look significantly different from the current configuration, although we have been led to believe that this would offer the iPhone 6 a rather more iPad Air-esque finish.
