Pangu jailbreak version 1.1 available – many bugfixes

iWatch rumor – flexible LG screens to start rolling out by September in two sizes

How’s wireless charging and a cool design for Apple’s next new product? KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo wrote in a note to clients that Apple’s rumored wearable device – which was dubbed by the press the iWatch – should come in two different screen sizes.

Corroborating the report, a new story has it that the device is indeed coming, outfitted with a flexible screen made by LG Display, a company thought to be the sole display supplier for the device.

It should come out in September and Apple’s target is to sell nine million units this year. Read the rest


Roumored iPhone 6 seems to get a larger screen size

Hold on to your pants, the new iPhone 6 will have a larger screen, more exactly a 4.7″ screen. Credit goes to the France-based Apple blog, which has a fairly good track record for legitimate leaks.

And that’s not all. As you can see, the mold has a tapered edge, which is somewhat in line with reports that the rear side of the device will look significantly different from the current configuration, although we have been led to believe that this would offer the iPhone 6 a rather more iPad Air-esque finish. Things to know about a future iOS 7 jailbreak

First thing you need to know, the iOS 7 jailbreak is in the works. The evad3rs are working hard on exploiting iOS 7 bugs so we can enjoy the liberation of our iDevices soon.

Second, this next jailbreak tool will probably be just a new version of evasi0n updated for iOS 7 support. It will be compatible with all iDevices – iPods, iPhones and iPads. Sadly, there is no intel on an AppleTV jailbreak but who knows what the future brings. Read the rest


iBooks, iTunes U and GMail – three great apps get the iOS 7 treatment

Apple has updated almost all its own apps for the new iOS 7 look and feel, and today they have released two major apps – iBooks and iTunes U. Still waiting in queue are Find my Friends and Keynote Remote though.

iBooks “has been updated with a beautiful new design for iOS 7,” says Apple. This update includes a completely revamped iBook Store.

On the other side, Google has also released a new version of their GMail app, redesign to better fit the iOS 7 design. Read the rest


iOS 7.0.4 released – safe to update for future jailbreak

Apple has just released iOS 7.0.4 for the iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch – an update for bug fixes and stability improvements and also a very important bug which would sometimes prevent users from making a FaceTime call.

As usual, the update is available over the air, directly from your iDevice: Settings > General > Software Update, or by updating directly in iTunes.

In addition to iOS 7.0.4, Apple also rolled out an iOS 6.1.5 update for owners of fourth generation iPod Touch, also to bring a fix to the aforementioned FaceTime bug, and and update to the Apple TV firmware, bringing it to version 6.0.2. Read the rest

No limit to the number of photos uploaded to My Photo Stream

Great news for My Photo Stream users! Apple has updated its services sincer the iOS 7 release – and now, there is no more limit to the number of photos you can upload to My Photo Stream over time, but iCloud will limit the number of photos that can be uploaded within a given hour, day, or month to prevent unintended or excessive use.

If you didn’t know, Photo Stream is a service supplied with the basic iCloud service which then allowed you to store the most recent 1,000 photos on the iCloud servers up to 30 days free of charge. Read the rest


iPad Air – now availabe in the Apple Stores and retailers

As Apple said, the new iPad Air will be available for customers starting the first of November. The new iPad has be redesign, it’s lighter, thinner, and has smaller bezels than its predecessor. As for performance, Apple update the iPad with the new 64 bit A7 processor.
