Reasons not to update to iOS 8, at least not yet

This article reflects my sole point of view and my needs from a jailbroken iOS device (mainly – the iPhone). I’ve been a jailbreaker sincer my first iPhone 3G and I’m loving it. I’m going to give you a few reasons not to upgrade just yet to iOS 8 this friday.

iOS 7.0.3 released – here’s what’s new

Without saying anything, Apple has released a new version of iOS – 7.0.3 – an update that brings some improvements alongside the re-added support for iCloud Keychain. iMessage, iPhone 5s sensor calibration issues and many more bugs have been fixed by Apple in this release.

Also, iOS 7.0.3 contains a more effective “reduce motion” setting than previous versions. You can find this setting under Settings > General > Accessibility. You can download this update over the air by accessing the Settings > General > Software update menu. Read the rest

– 9 million iPhones were sold in the first weekend.

– 64% of iDevices are now running iOS 7

iOS 7 adoption rate after 27 days from the official launch date

Guess what, 27 days have passed since Apple have released it’s newer version of iOS and it seems that it is the most popular version ever because 71% of iDevices out there are already running iOS 7!

Last year when iOS 6 was released, its adoption rate reached only 61% in 30 days from the official launch. iOS 7 really seems to become very popular despide some bad critics regarding the new flat design.
