This week has been a crazy week as Chinese TaiG team has released the updated TaiG jailbreak tool that is compatible with iOS 8.1.2, iOS 8.2 and iOS 8.3 so far.

Things you need to know about TaiG jailbreak: With version 2.1.2, TaiG jailbreak seems to be very stable and bug-free. UPDATE: TaiG has released version 2.0 which jailbreaks iOS 8.4! Have fun, the tutorial is the same!

Today, TaiG team have released a new version of their jailbreak software – TaiG Jailbreak – supporting iOS 8.1.3, iOS 8.2 and iOS 8.3. We do hope they will make it compatible with the upcoming iOS 8.4, but we’ll see in a few days when iOS 8.4 gets released for public by Apple.

TaiG Windows jailbreak tutorial for iOS 8.1.1

So everyone got surprised by the chinese team TaiG releasing a new jailbreak tool for iOS 8.1.1. All things all right so far; as usual hacker @i0n1c complains that they stole his exploits (again). But I’m sure you’re not interested in all that drama.

TaiG jailbreak is available for all iDevices running iOS 8.0, 8.0.2, 8.1 and yes, 8.1.1. If you’re a developer, TaiG v.1.0 works with iOS 8.2 beta 1 too. If you’re a regular user, I suggest not installing the beta version of iOS 8.2. Read the rest


PanGu 8 Windows jailbreak tutorial for iOS 8 – 8.1

@PanGuTeam has finally released a stable version of their jailbreak software (PanGu8). Version 1.1.0 brings alot of fixes and automatically installs Cydia after the jailbreak, no more SSH-ing for the average user. All iDevices running iOS 8 – 8.1 are supported by the PanGu jailbreak.

Before jailbreaking, be sure to BACKUP your iDevice in iCloud and in iTunes (to be safe).

Reasons not to update to iOS 8, at least not yet

This article reflects my sole point of view and my needs from a jailbroken iOS device (mainly – the iPhone). I’ve been a jailbreaker sincer my first iPhone 3G and I’m loving it. I’m going to give you a few reasons not to upgrade just yet to iOS 8 this friday.

Pangu.io team has just released a new version of their jailbreak software with many bug fixes – including the bootloop error.

Quick fix for Pangu jailbreak bootloop error on iOS 7.1.1 / 7.1.0

I just read a new post on /r/jailbreak from user DagMeow how points out that the bootloop error on some iDevices jailbroken with Pangu software is caused by the ambient light sensor.

Although it seems very weird, other users reported the fix as a valid one.

You will probably get a bootloop if your iDevice is in a dark room while rebooting. But if you point a flashlight above the light sensor while it is rebooting, the boot process goes well. Read the rest


Pangu iOS 7.1.0 / 7.1.1 jailbreak – everything you need to know

Yesterday, Chinese team named “Pangu” has been released a new jailbreak tool that is compatible with iOS 7.1.0 / 7.1.1. Everything works great if you follow our Pangu iOS 7.1.1 jailbreak tutorial, but there are a few things that you might need to know about this tool and team.

Some bugs used in this jailbreak were originaly discovered by iOS hacker @i0n1c and made available to the public through his iOS hacking training classes. According to him, team Pangu had no right to use those bugs to build a public jailbreak. Read the rest


Pangu jailbreak for iOS 7.1.0 and iOS 7.1.1 – all iDevices

Ok, so a new jailbreak has been released today, its name is Pangu and it can jailbreak all iDevices running on iOS 7.1.0 and iOS 7.1.1.

Pangu 1.0 jailbreak tutorial:

0. Backup your iDevice data !!! And turn off your PassCode if you have any (for now).

1. Download Pangu jailbreak from www.jailbreaktools.com

2. Be sure your iDevice is already running iOS 7.1.0/7.1.1

3. Open Pangu app on your computer and leave it open.

4. On your iDevice, go to Settings > General > Date and Time. Read the rest
