Roumored iPhone 6 seems to get a larger screen size

Written on April 15th, 2014 | by neluttu

Hold on to your pants, the new iPhone 6 will have a larger screen, more exactly a 4.7″ screen. Credit goes to the France-based Apple blog Nowhereelse.fr, which has a fairly good track record for legitimate leaks.

And that’s not all. As you can see, the mold has a tapered edge, which is somewhat in line with reports that the rear side of the device will look significantly different from the current configuration, although we have been led to believe that this would offer the iPhone 6 a rather more iPad Air-esque finish. jailbreak-news

First thing you need to know, the iOS 7 jailbreak is in the works. The evad3rs are working hard on exploiting iOS 7 bugs so we can enjoy the liberation of our iDevices soon.

Second, this next jailbreak tool will probably be just a new version of evasi0n updated for iOS 7 support. It will be compatible with all iDevices – iPods, iPhones and iPads. Sadly, there is no intel on an AppleTV jailbreak but who knows what the future brings. Read the rest

Coolest iWatch concept on the web, must see – high res photo

Written on October 21st, 2013 | by neluttu

iwatch_concept

I gotta say that this concept really cought my eye! Designer Thomas Bogner was thinking what functions he would love to see in a so called “smartwatch” and this is the outcome of his imagination.

From all concepts I saw on the web since the rumors about the iWatch started, I have to admit that this Nike Fuelband concept really is something worthwhile! The Nike design plus the iOS ecosystem is a winner for me.

What to expect from Apple’s October 22 event

Apple says it still has “a lot to cover,” and that’s no exaggeration. This year, we got two new iPhones and new iMacs in september, and Apple is still not done yet.

Based on rumours, we can expect Apple to release the next generations of the iPad and the iPad Mini, OS X Mavericks is already here in GM version, the long awaited Mac Pro will surely be out and of course new upgraded MacBook Pros.

We still want to see new and upgraded AppleTVs, the iPods might need an update. Read the rest

Written on October 18th, 2013 | by neluttu

facetimeappletv

For a while now I have been thinking about this FaceTime enabled AppleTV and I’d really like the new generation or any future generations of the AppleTV to be FaceTime ready.

Picture yourself sitting in your living room in front of your TV and receiving a FaceTime call – directly on the TV. I know you can mirror any FaceTime call directly on your TV but you’ll have to hold on to your iPad or iPhone during the whole call.

On a larger scale, think about how cool it would be to make a conference FaceTime call through an AppleTV. Read the rest

Written on October 15th, 2013 | by neluttu

apple-event

As many expected, today Apple has started sending out invites for a media event on October 22, which is widely thought to be the launch of the next generation of iPad and iPad Mini.

All Things D reports that the event will be held at the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts in San Francisco, which Apple has used a lot previously for big announcements.

Apple announcements tend to roll around at about the same time every year, and this time the rumormill suggests Apple will unveil updates to its tablets, though OS X Mavericks and a new MacBook Pro should also get a look-in. Read the rest
